Angel in the Hospital
Submitted by Steph
I was pregnant with twins, and in and out of the hospital. At about 34 weeks, my one baby started moving
less and less, yet my checkup showed everything was fine. At 35 weeks my water broke, 2 weeks before my
cesarian section. I had not felt my babies moving that whole day. We rushed to the hospital, only to be sent
to another hospital. I waited 6 hours for the gynecologist to arrive, but calmed down the moment she
walked into the operating room, then had to have general anesthesia. During the operation I lost a lot
of blood, and one of my twins was touch and go. I kept feeling someone stroking my hand and straightening
my bedclothes. When I mentioned it to one of the nurses later she smiled and said none of us are ever
truly alone.
